We Value Our Customers

The most common new customer for us is a small repair or upgrade to their existing automation.  We usually work for these customers for a few hours to a few days.  We resolve their issue and leave and the customer is happy.  Sometimes that leads to more work at their site.  Other times it does not, but we also know that the automation community is small and our reputation is important.  We rely on word of mouth referrals.  We love small customers as much as do large ones.

We also have done large projects for breweries, water districts, food&beverage, consumer products, solar projects, equipment OEMs and other customers where we designed, installed and started up brand new automation systems complete with control panels and programming.

So whether your company is large or small, trust us to work on your automation.

Saga Automation Engineers Deliver Results

How should I choose an integrator?

Top Factors to consider when choosing an integrator:

  • Experienced – Saga Automation has over 30 years experience in control systems and 9 years of satisfying clients.  We have worked for small, medium and large businesses.
  • Local – Your integrator should be able to get to your location the same day when needed.  This means if you call in the morning, their travel to your site should be 2-3 hours at most.  This is why we service PA, NJ, MD and DE from Wilmington, DE.  We do have clients beyond this service area as well, but most are local.
  • Small Integrator Advantages – Saga Automation is one engineer.  You get the same person every time.  We have lower overhead, so our rates are the best value.  Larger integrators send less experienced people that will take longer to fix your problem.

Does Saga Automation have experience to fix/upgrade/modify our machine?

Top Factors to consider when choosing who to support your automation:

  • OEM vs Integrator – The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is always the first choice, but Saga Automation is often asked to step in because the OEM is out of business or doesn’t support the old machine or is too far away to help or has not been able to resolve the problem.  Sometimes Saga even gets on the phone with the OEM and works cooperatively with them.
  • PLC & HMI Expertise – The heart of any automation or machine is oftentimes the PLC & HMI and their programming.  Saga is often asked if we know specific brands.  We have worked on many of the brands (30 years experience equals a lot of different PLCs!)  but not all of them. When you call us we will quickly identify your needs and tell you our experience on those platforms.  We also have experience with many VFD, servo/motion, vision and robot brands as well.
  • Complete Automation Service – Many times we are called to fix a machine that was working up to a few hours or days ago.  The most common issues we find are failed components, loose wiring and improper maintenance.  We will work with your internal resources (supervisor, maintenance, operators) when available, but can also work independently.  Our mission it to fix your machine correctly and as fast as possible, because our reputation depends on it.
